Frequently Asked Questions
Do you give a discount for 2 or more different cleaning services?
Yes, if they are 2 separate items of work, for example a gutter clearance and a gutter, soffit and fascia clean we will give a 10% discount on the total payable.
What method do you use for cleaning a concrete block driveway?
Our general method is pressure washing which will remove 90%+ of dirt, algae, mould etc. without the use of chemicals. However, if for instance the driveway contains Lichens such as Black Spot this won’t be removed entirely so we then soft wash using a minimal amount of appropriate biocide to remove the remaining lichen. Soft washing can also give residual protection against regrowth of organic vegetation. After washing and when the driveway is dry we will then brush dried sand into the paver joints to replace any lost sand due to the pressure washing process. This is very important to maintain the integrity of the driveway and the interlocking blocks to prevent movement when vehicles drive over.
Can you give me a quote over the phone for a driveway clean?
Probably not, we would need to visit the site to measure up and ascertain which exact method would be best suited in conjunction with your requirements.
My gutters were cleared about a year ago but they might need doing again. What is the recommended interval between cleans?
Many insurance companies recommend gutters to be cleared every 6-12 months. However if you don’t live near trees and moss does not grow on your roof then this interval could probably be stretched out a bit longer.
Do I need to be home when you carry out the gutter clearance?
Generally yes, unless you have an outside power socket that we could use for our Gutter Vac.
Do you require payment on the day after your work has been completed? And how can I pay?
Yes, payment is required on the day after work completion unless alternative arrangements have been agreed to previously. We can accept card payments or cash.
